Morgan Bell: 38.46 TES + 36.47 PCS -1.00 = 73.93 Total: 112.48
  • She is skating to Avatar and is currently in 18th place
  • Very nice double axel
  • Triple lutz was two footed and looked like there was hesitation going in
  • Good position in the tucked sit spin
  • Double lutz + double toe combo--very far forward on the takeoff
  • Good triple toe
  • Good height on the spiral but it could be even better with more flexibility in her back
  • Fall on the triple salchow--feet got caught up underneath her
  • Good layback position into a haircutter and Biellman that picked up speed
  • Good double axel + double toe
  • Nice triple toe + double toe combination--excellent job landing the double toe which was off in the air
  • Good speed in the combination spin with interesting arms on the upright position
Joelle Forte: 49.98 TES + PCS = 91.69 Total: 139.82 and into 1st place
  • She is currently in 17th place
  • A little tentative on the triple lutz and she can't quite make the landing
  • Good triple flip
  • Very nice triple salchow right into the flying sit spin but she could have more stretch through her free leg and more speed
  • Nice double axel
  • Good layback position into a haircutter but losing speed and no Biellman
  • I'd like to see her leg a little higher or her back a little higher on that spiral--just a little tweak would make that an even better position
  • Good triple lutz + double toe
  • Good triple toe, double axel sequence
  • Nice one foot section in her footwork and she seems to really be letting lose and smiling at this point in the program; it seems like she stayed in the center of the ice for a while instead of continuing toward the end of the rink
  • Triple salchow + double toe
  • Nice camel position right into a good low sit spin and a decent upright position with good centering
Angela Wang: 62.61 TES + 47.07 PCS = 109.68 Total: 158.66 and into 1st place

  • Good spiral position
  • Nice solid triple loop going into the combination spin with good speed, nice positions and good flow out

  • She has a lot of really nice transitions in this program but I think the one thing she is missing is complete confidence in herself to go out there and nail it
  • Triple lutz
  • Double axel + double toe + single loop
  • I'd like to see her really stretch through her arms, back and legs to finish off all these steps in her footwork
  • Good speed in the layback spin with a good position through the haircutter but losing centering on the Biellman

  • Double lutz + double loop--arm variation on the first jump but a scratchy landing
  • Double toe
  • Nice layback position into a really nice haircutter and Biellman
