- He seems a bit slow through this step sequence but there's a lot of character in this program and he is really performing

- Decent broken leg camel with a nice change of foot picking up speed into a catchfoot camel

- Double axel looked a little wild but he landed it
- Nice change of positions in the combination spin with good speed and centering
- Great hydroblade but a bit awkward getting out of it and stepping right into the double axel at the very end of the program.

- Beautiful triple Tano lutz
- Nice triple loop--he really takes the time to hold the landing and ride out the jump with good arm and leg positions

- He was cat like on that triple lutz landing it even though it was off in the air
- Nice use of the music in this step sequence with lots of turns and changes of edges although he seems to be riding the top of the edge a lot of the time
- Small bobble on a transition move but it probably won't cost him anything
- A little low on the landing of the triple axel but he hangs on
- Good speed through the sit spin

- Gorgeous spread eagle into a double axel
- Triple flip + double toe--no height at all on the second jump; impressed he pulled it off!
- Stumble out of the triple lutz
- He has a very light and airy quality to his skating which suits this program well
- Nice stretched out position in the sit spin with good speed
- Fall on the 2nd triple lutz attempt
- Triple toe + double toe with one arm variation on the landing
- Nice position in his camel spin but the leg gets in front of him on the twisted variation
- Great character through the step sequence with nice changes of edges

- Popped open his quad attempt
- Quad toe + double toe very tight on the landing and he is forward on the toe pick
- Hand down and turn out of the triple axel
- Seems a tad slow through the combination spin but maintains the speed throughout and nice positions
- Nice edge quality through the step sequence

- Great lyrical quality to the choreographic step sequence with great use of his arms and hands to extend through the movement

- He needed a clean skate to keep himself in contention and he made too many mistakes. Now he'll have to wait and see if he can climb a spot into the top 12 and guarantee two places for himself on the Grand Prix

- The free leg could be higher in the camel position but good speed and a nice catchfoot
- The step sequence seems very slow and he's riding the tops of the edges a lot

- Nice position in the camel spin but it looks like he can't decide what to do with his bottom arm and it just hangs there for a good portion of the spin
Adam Rippon, USA: 70.24 TES + 73.84 PCS -1.00 = 143.08 Total: 216.63 and into 2nd place
- Two foots the landing of the quad salchow and falls
- Two foots the triple axel landing, turns out of it but tacks on the double toe
- Nice triple loop
- Beautiful step sequence and each element flows so easily into the next with great extension through his arms and hands to finish off the movement
- Triple axel and he manages to save it by lunging and putting his free leg down
- Nice triple flip + triple toe
- Two foots the first jump in that triple + triple combo
- Rippon lutz right on the music
- He lands so close to the boards that his combination spin is almost on top of them but he maintains good speed and position
- Great double axel right on the music
- Nice twisted camel position into a good donut
- It wasn't pretty in places but he fought for every jump landing

- I'd like to see a straighter leg in the illusion spin but ends with a nice headless scratch spin

- Quad toe was very nice
- Lots of height on the triple axel but has to step out and put his hand down
- Triple axel + double toe very nice
- Another clean triple and he has such a gorgeous landing position with let at 90 degrees and a nice straight back
- Nice twisted position in the camel and a nice flying change of foot and pulling right into the donut position
- Triple lutz + triple salchow sequence
- Triple loop + double toe

- Great twisted sit variation but losing speed through the tuck position
- Nice double axel
- Nice speed and positions through his final combination spin but ended just after his music
- When he lands his jumps he is really something. Great technique and great feel for the music.

- This is one of my favorite programs of the season and if he can stay in the moment he can deliver a great performance
- Nice quad toe and he fights to stick that landing
- Big triple axel + double toe (a little forward on the landing of the axel)
- Good speed through his sit spin with a nice transition out
- Triple flip with a nice spread eagle right out of it
- Nice deep edges in the step sequence, lots of level changes, full body movement and right with the music
- Step out of the triple axel and hands down
- Triple lutz + triple toe right on top of the boards but he hangs on
- Single loop
- Triple flip forward on the landing but he stays upright
- Nice twisted upright position into a scratch spin
- Nice quality to the choreographic step sequence
- Triple salchow and he just barely manages to get his free leg out
- Good speed in hte camel spin into a sit and finally an upright catch foot
Yuzuru Hanyu, JPN: 91.99 TES + 83.00 PCS -1.00 = 173.99 Total: 251.06 and into 1st place
- Solid opening quad toe
- Nice triple axel right on the music
- Triple lutz stepping right up into his sit spin with nice positions and good speed and I especially love the use of his arms in the tucked sit position
- Triple flip + double toe with two arms overhead
- Good deep edges in this footwork with lots of position changes and a nice traveling sit spin; oh no he pulled a Patrick Chan and got so into his steps that he fell
- Nice recovery with a triple axel + triple toe
- Good three jump combo (triple lutz + double toe + double toe)
- Nice Ina Bauer right into a spread eagle, some really nice transitions in this program
- Good triple loop
- Nice donut position into a stretched out sit position in his combination spin but losing speed at the end
- Love how he comes alive for this choreographic step sequence and he is really leaving everything out on the ice
- Triple salchow landing right on a beat in the music
- Nice speed through the sit spin into his signature Biellman
Samuel Contesti, ITA: 75.84 TES + 75.50 PCS = 151.34 Total: 224.89 and into 4th place
- Huge triple axel to open his program

- Good twisted position in the camel spin with a change foot--nice camel with the free leg above 90 degrees
- Good speed in the second spin but he needs more stretch through his free leg in the sit spin and he loses his centering on the upright spin
- Nice flow through his footwork and nicely timed with the music
- Nice triple axel + double toe + double toe
- Good triple loop
- Good choreography into a double axel
- Triple salchow + triple toe with a flip out on the second jump

- Good speed through the twisted sit but losing it through the back tuck position
