Omaha Visitor's Information


For those of you lucky enough to be traveling to Omaha for the U.S. Figure Skating Championships, the Omaha Convention and Visitor's Center has provided the following information: 

The official website for Omaha visitors is www.visitomaha.com.  Visitors can also download the Omaha Visitors Guide and map here

The Visit Omaha website is also smart phone enabled – you can just go to www.visitomaha.com and our easy to use mobile site will appear where visitors can find restaurants, hotels and special offers for their trip.  Visitors looking for what Omaha has to offer can also check our latest “Discover Omaha” video, available here: http://youtu.be/d3ZSNjpkDTs.
      
The Century Link Center, where the Championships are held, is located in downtown Omaha, on 455 N. 10th Street.

The Century Link Center has many hotels within walking distance.  While a full list is available by clicking here, they include:

o   Holiday Inn Downtown
o   Courtyard by Marriot
o   Hilton Garden Inn and Suites

There are also many attractions, shopping, food and bars with live music within walking distance.

Also, the CenturyLink Center is about a ten minute walk from Omaha’s Old Market, an excellent arts and entertainment district with fabulous dining, shopping and nightlife, including:

Omaha is also home to a number of exciting places to visit close to the downtown area, including the world famous Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium, home to the world’s largest indoor desert and the largest indoor rainforest in the US;  the Durham Museumthe Joslyn Art Museum and the Lewis and Clark Landing.
