Breaking Down the Elements: Novice Pattern Dance

In lieu of the short dance, novices perform two pattern dances (old compulsory dances).

This season, the dances are American Waltz, Paso Doble, and the Blues for events in the United States leading up to U.S. Nationals.

For international events, 1 pattern dance shall be drawn from each group before the first official practice.
Group 1: #5 American Waltz or #9 Starlight Waltz
Group 2: #12 Kilian #20 Tango
